- Hands-on role supervising 3 staff (a toolmaker and 2x fitters)
Reporting to the manufacturing manager you will supervise a team of 2 fitters and a toolmaker, review plant maintenance issues and decipher problems and determine the best resolution with regards to time and cost.
- Accountability for all maintenance and repair (Electrical and Mechanical)
- Maintain PLCs and Injection Moulding machines
- Site infrastructure and facilities maintenance
- Manage supplies, purchases and budgets set by the Manufacturing Manager
- Lead projects involving commissioning, installation, modification or renovation of building and equipment.
- Previous experience supervising and maintenance team ideal from an electrical background
- Familiar with automation system controls & PLC programming
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems i.e. speed drives, Festo pneumatics and hydraulics
- Strong breakdown and fault-finding skills
- Restricted electrical licence
