MAYDAY Blue begins...
Following exponential growth within the corporate world, multi-award-winning MAYDAY Recruitment Group identified a large blue gap in the market! The need for a service offering an incredibly quick turnaround, showing a true understanding of the technical workforce, coupled with their industry leading βCare Factorβ led to the origination of MAYDAY Blue.
In 2019 MAYDAY's directors collaborated with Electrical Contracting business owner Jack Storie (Auscott Electrical) to better understand how to bring MAYDAYβs core values of care and urgency into the technical space. Coupled with the excitement of offering a broader service to their existing client base and at the same time expanding the MAYDAY Group.... Overnight MAYDAY Blue was born.
The Blue brand quickly grew from placing sparkies, HVAC and plumbers, to more recently supporting national construction projects. To lead the Blue team, MAYDAY appointed General Manager David Booth, who brings over 12 years experience in sourcing white and blue collar roles in the Supply Chain Industry whilst also managing specialist recruitment teams within Construction, FM and Engineering.
